Anglachel's Journal: Light on Blogging

Anglachel's Journal: Light on Blogging

This is a very good analysis of the weakness in Obama, and the failings of race baiting by his supporters.

Take heart, the election will not be about the color of Obama's skin. It has and always will be about his qualifications.

rooting for the faux messiah

hear the prayers by PUMAs for our democracy: (@riverdaughter.wordpress.com commentor michael P Varvel, on August 19th, 2008 at 11:13 pm, Said:)

Dear Creator Father Mother God/dess

Tonight I am going to be selfish tonight not for me but for these my friends many who I may never meet but whom I hold as dear to me as my closest neighbors and friends.

I have never in my life seen such selfless dedication to duty as I have seen here in the midst of the PUMA Just Say No Deal Alliance. These individuals have dedicated their time talent and treasure and sacrificed for their beliefs that this great Democracy this enduring republic should not parish and descend into tyranny and complete despotism.

I have seen them slandered and abused for their belief that our country deserves only the best and that that person is our Hillary R Clinton. I am unable to express the joy I felt when I first came here to this outpost of sanity. Here I found intellectual giants who only a few weeks before were just average Americans committed to Democratic victory in November.

I could read in their words the disbelief in how the process of selecting the best qualified candidate was corrupted and manipulated against their candidate. When most bowed to the perceived inevitable these few who became the many did not back down. They stood up for what they knew as right, and with the dedication seen in Americans from generations before they set to the task of making the world right again.

Tonight Creator I ask humbly that everything that is; happens according to your plan and I know we are part of your plan. For the hearts of men and women delegates in Denver, ask they not to be hardened towards our Hillary that they be open so they can see the path to righting the wrong and standing up for us. Make Denver the place where right met might and right won.

As the inspired word said bear us up on eagle’s wings that a new dawn may shine on the daughter of your highly favored land and breath forth the word that justice has moved and our Hillary is again our champion. May the world may again see America as the lighted lamp beside the golden door.

Amen

rooting for the wrong leader for change...

seems like our presumptous nominee and leader-select has been having some problems lately. here, i offer some advice to devoted obama supporters to show them what their messaiah can do to show he is for REAL change.

here are some examples of the things that the other candidate has put out since Jun 3 while obama's been out prancing about the globe:

July 10, 2008 Fight for civil liberties! - voted NO on FISA

July 23, 2008 Fight for women's health! -
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/hillary-clinton/an-outrageous-attempt-by_b_114064.html
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lA56Oz-t_rQ

July 30,2008 Fight for equal pay!- In 1963, President John F. Kennedy signed the Equal Pay Act (EPA) into law, making it illegal for employers to pay unequal wages to men and women who perform equal work. At the time, women earned 59 cents to every dollar earned by men. Today, a pay gap persists, as women earn 77 cents to every dollar that men earn. The Institute of Women's Policy Research found that this wage disparity will cost women anywhere from $400,000 to $2 million over a lifetime in lost wages. An April Senate report found that in contrast to previous slowdowns, the current economic downturn "is hitting women harder than men. They are suffering more job losses and larger reductions in wages than the general population." Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-NY) and Rep. Rosa DeLauro (D-CT) have introduced the Paycheck Fairness Act (PFA), which will strengthen current laws against wage discrimination. The bill passed the House Education And Labor Committee last week and is scheduled to come to a floor vote later this week. As DeLauro urged, "The marketplace alone will not correct this injustice -- that is why we need a legislative solution."

August 6, 2008 Shout out againt no-bid contracts! http://online.wsj.com/article/SB121798030763715107.html?mod=opinion_main_commentaries

see, there are lots and lots of things that O-savior can do to win over the disgruntled PUMAs. just look at how much can be achieved behind the scenes when the camera's are not rolling.

oh, as for all his policy flip-flops... please have him stop doing it. saying he's for gas-tax and tapping into petro-reserve and off-shore drilling all at once after he's have said you were against them all is just, well, over-doing it? obama's betting people aren't paying attention... but that's kind of hard when he's running on over-exposure.

just follow the lady's lead. she's already thought about all these issues and "triangulated and caluculated" the set of policy solutions that will lead to most consistency and have the highest possibility of working. please just do what she's advocated and have him learn how to defend it like she does and he'll do fine! the kingdom is obama's to lose! so please pass these humble advice along... or else it'll be McSame McCain!!!

AN OBAMA SUPPORTER EXPLAINS IT ALL TO US.

MR: So tell me, what has Senator Obama ever accomplished that qualifies him to be President of the United States?

OS: There you go again playing the old politics of the past.

MR: So accomplishment is the old politics of the past?

OS: Yes.

MR: So the new politics, the one Senator Obama and you support and represent is that you don’t have to actually have done anything to be President.

OS: Senator Obama represents hope.

MR: Hope for what?

OS: Hope.

MR: Hope for hope?

OS: Yes.

MR: I see.

OS: And Senator Obama represents change.

MR: What kind of change? from what to what?

OS: Just change.

MR: But it has to be change from something to something. That’s what change is.

OS: Senator Obama stands for a new change in Washington and a new change in politics, ejecting the old politics of the past.

MR: The old politics where you had to actually accomplish something

OS: Yes. And hope and change.

MR: But you cant say what kind of hope and change

OS: Not yet.

MR: Why not?

OS: He hasn’t told us yet.

MR: Do you expect him to?

OS: I don’t know.

MR: What kind of change are we talking about?

OS: A new beginning.

MR: Wouldn’t anyone represent a new beginning after 8 years of Bush?

OS: Not this kind of beginning.

MR: And what kind of beginning is that?

OS: A beginning of hope and change.

MR: If Senator Obama represents change from the old politics why did he use an old Washington insider to vet his vice presidential candidates and then have to dump him because he was involved in shady loans deals?

OS: You’re using that as a distraction.

MR: What’s it distracting from?

OS: Senator Obama’s message.

MR: And what message is that?

OS: Hope and change.

MR: Senator Obama broke his pledge to finance his campaign with public money, something he promised during the primary. He went back on his word.

OS: Sometimes you have to.

MR:.Why?

OS: To fight against the old politics of the past so he can do what the country needs.

MR: And what’s that?

OS: Bring hope and change.

MR: Hope and change for what?

OS: For what matters.

MR: What matters?

OS: Hope and change
.
MR: Okay, so what would be the single biggest change Senator Obama would accomplish if he were elected?

OS: He’s African American.

MR: That’s not an accomplishment that’s genetics.

OS: You’re being divisive. That would be a big change.

MR: But when the country elects the first black President
shouldn’t it be because he or she is the best candidate
and the fact that they are black be totally besides the
point?

OS: No. It’s about hope and change.

MR: Is it hope for change or hope and change

OS: Either one. It’s up to you. It’s all good.

MR: So it doesn’t matter.

OS: No. And he can unify people and bring them together. Help us over come the divisions that divide us.

MR: Then why is the Democratic Party the most divided in its history with almost half the party against him and
most refusing to vote for him?

OS: Uneducated racist Clinton voters.

MR: What flavor Kool-Aid is that?

OS: Cherry

competitive ...

for competition's sake.

they see the primary as a game, and not as what it is meant to be -- an election. an election where people's votes represent people's voice, needs, hopes and aspirations. why else do we have an election if not to have people's votes count? this isn't a vote collection game. the votes aren't just points, the votes mean something deeper. the franchise is what makes our country great. it is what our democracy is about. when they say FL and MI shouldn't count because republican party leaders committed a mistake with the rules, they are disenfranchising people's voice. when they say that we should end the race now because the 'math' is difficult is denying the rest of the millions of voters a say. their distortion that the math is impossible is subordinating the people's will to their decisions for the nominee. the fact is, neither candidate has the delegates to win the nomination now and until all the delegates are accounted for, no one should claim victory.

obama's campaign and his supporter's operations are greek tragedies waiting to happen. they are completely out of touch when they look all smug and showing off their intellectual superiority about the math of the delegate count. the hubris of it all! the way the party elites thumbing their noses at the other half of the democratic party, (the core base of democrats no less), is tragic.

obama supporters are myopic about winning. they see the world as they want it, and not as it is, nor how other people may see it. this is why even if they win the battle, they will lose the war.

race baiters.

i have these words for obama supporters.

STOP IT !
IT'S ENOUGH ALREADY!

STOP LABELING EVERY NON-OBAMA SUPPORTER A RACIST. IF YOU KEEP CALLING HILLARY SUPPORTERS RACISTS, YOU ARE JUST MAKING IT WORSE, NOT BETTER. IF YOU REALLY WANT TO GET HILLARY SUPPORTERS TO SUPPORT OBAMA, CALLING THEM RACISTS DOES NOT HELP.
IT DOESN'T MAKE THEM FEEL GUILTY ANYMORE. IT MAKES THEM ANGRY BECAUSE THEY HATE BEING CALLED RACISTS OVER AND OVER AGAIN WHEN THEY ARE NOT!!!
YOUR CANDIDATE IS NOT PERFECT, AND THERE IS A BETTER CANDIDATE OUT THERE WHO IS BETTER PREPARED AND BEST QUALIFIED FOR THE JOB.
STOP BLAMING OBAMA'S FAILURES FOR NOT BEING ABLE TO INSPIRE THE OTHER HALF OF THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY ON RACISM.
THE TRUTH IS THAT OBAMA IS UNPREPARED, HE SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN SOME WORK EXPERIENCE AND WORK HARDER TO EARN THE JOB LIKE EVERYONE ELSE.
HE IS TO BLAME FOR HIS OWN SHORTCOMINGS. NOT OTHERS. STOP GIVING HIM A FREE PASS. THIS IS STARTING TO FEEL LIKE AFFIRMATIVE ACTION GONE AWRY. THIS IS LOOKING LIKE REVERSE DISCRIMINATION.

terrorists ?

i hate to do this... i really don't like to put stuff like this on here because of its implications of equating islam with terrorism and all the propagandas of fear and hate.

but i thought this link was worth mentioning because it is on a republican blog. this means that obama's connections will be a huge problem in the general election. and if they are not addressed now, he will never stand a chance against the republicans, let alone the moderate democrats...

http://www.frontpagemagazine.com/Articles/Read.aspx?GUID=6203178D-C782-42E2-8D56-765A3D7EDCD7

another thing that was disturbing to me was this video that i found online...

go to the end of the Youtube tape and hear Obama's words from his book, "Dreams of My Father," and Pastor Wright's hate speech on Hiroshima and Sharpsville on the video. it suggests that he was there during the Wright hate speech. Obama says, while the boys seated next to him, "were doodling in their church bulletin" Reverend Wright spoke on Sharpsville and Hiroshima!" not sure if they were the same speeches as the videos, but what other context can wright talk about sharpsville and hiroshima?

however, i was more concerned with the quote that closed the video, which said:

"If nationalism could create a strong and effective insularity, deliver on its
promise of self-respect, then the hurt it might cause well-meaning whites, or
the inner turmoil it caused people like me, would be of little consequence."

i think it explains why obama threw the clintons under the bus for AA suport.

he knows what he is doing is wrong and he knows that he's hurting well-meaning folks like the clintons. but all this is good to bring self-respect to AA community.

i think this is dangerous path he chose because all movements to bring about self-respect or to reach a moral higher ground have ended in vain.

again i worry, not because he is necessarily a bad person, but that he may be blinded by his own ideological fervor.

a bad influence for kids.

it is dangerous to play with fire. when we play with fire, we must take the necessary precautions and keep a fire extinguisher nearby.

when the obama campaign ignites the passions of youth and liberal activism, it must be able to properly channel that and direct it in a positive way.

hillary supporters are intimidated and ridiculed for their support for obama. in the earlier primaries, obama's overwhelming visible support had turned many hillary supporters to the closet. this led to hillary's support being declared through secret ballot of the primary vote. time after time, even after massive amounts of money spent on propaganda and filling the liberal airwaves with anti-clinton pundits, the hillary supporters remain unwavering in their support. the hillary supporters dig deeper underground as the negativity from obama supporters grow unchecked. furthermore, those undecided were turned off by such negativity from obama supporters, and now support hillary because they are afraid of what obama's movement is creating.

in a pro-clinton forum, a thread's topic about how blogger was terrorised by obama's supporters. a few members start to share their own personal stories.

Hillary08 shares :
"I went to the grocery store yesterday wearing my Hillary t-shirt and buttons. Before leaving my 19 year old son (who was not going with me and strongly supports Hillary) asked me to change clothes. When I asked why he said he was worried of what might happen to me.

He's heard the stories of what BO"s followers are doing to Hillary supporters and was very worried about my safety.

He's made same mention of my van that is fully decorated with Hillary signs, bumper stickers and window stickers. He is worried our van will be damaged.

I told him NO ONE was going to shut me up nor shut me down.

Although he admires and respects my enthusiasm, he still worries about my safety.

I live in KY and the area I live in I feel very safe in. I do receive cheers and some jeers now and then but I will NOT let others who do not feel the same as I stop me from doing what I feel so passionately about."

then underpaidnurse from NC replies:
Good for you, and I understand where your son is coming from. My child was in a mock debate in social studies and took the pro hillary side (there were only two others that joined with her) and they were chanted right out of the class with the words "Racist...Racist.." over and over again until the teacher stopped it and called to apologize to me and my daughter. Needless to say she was in tears and couldn't understand why they would choose to attack her in such a way. The next day, she went back in with a Colber 08 shirt. She went to live with her dad in CA. while I await my nursing license transfer to join them. There she is able to wear her Got Experience shirt and is not attacked for it, and has even had some good conversations with young Obama supporters in her eight grade. So I wear my Team Hillary shirt as often as I can, and just steel myself for the comments. It is nice to hear more and more compliments on the shirt lately, tho.

the story recounted by underpaidnurse demonstrates how children take after adults so easily. these kids probably don't understand what calling someone a racist means. but this nonetheless shows the concerns that we should have when people accuse others of racism so readily. kids really don't know better most of the time, they are so busy trying to fit in and stay cool that they don't even think about the bigger consequences of their actions.

and if they learn how to hate, they must learn it from an adult. it would be irresponsible for obama to say that they cannot control what their supporters do. but they can certain control whether they choose to make race an issue or not.

to have the clintons become a vestibule for racist slander is the most negative thing that can be put onto these people who have been on the forefront in championing minority rights. such personal attack and character assasination is even lower than what the right-wing extremists have leveled on them.

if obama's campaign will to use this tactic against their own party for their short term aims of winning the primary, they better be ready to mop up after themselves when they lose. if he really is all hope and change, i hope that he is ushuring in hope for positive changes, and not for hope post negative changes.

about intimidation and fear.

a LA times article reports that the person who leaked Obama's small town bitter remark is getting death threats:
http://www.latimes.com/news/politics/la-na-bitterweb15apr15,1,5375351.story

this is one of my biggest issues with obama's leadership... it is that he has almost none when it comes to rejecting and denouncing support from people who propagate hate.

he remained silent when :
* he receives support from anti-semetic leaders like Louis Farrakhan
* his pastor Wright makes anti-american,anti-government, anti-clinton remarks
* his supporters write horrible derogatory comments about the clintons in the blogosphere, recycle republican trash of character assasination
* his advisors let loose of unprofessional comments about their democratic colleagues
* his wife goes on television talking about how she will not vote for clinton if she's the nominee
* the MSM fawns over him and propagates mysogynistic attacks on clinton

if he remains silent even when he has knowledge of what his supporters are doing, he is CONDONING their behavior. if he waits until someone holds him to it, then he is an self-serving opportunist. as a national leader, if he cannot even provide the correct & positive leadership that he espouses to in a campaign, imagine what would happen if he actually had the power of presidency. as a national leader he needs to recognize that he needs to lead on conduct. if he cannot inspire positive action, what does that say about him? i can think of many historical figures who have abused their popular support and fueled hate to advance their selfish agenda.

the amount of ridicule, disrespect and hate that comes out of the obama supporters is outrageous. it is even more apalling they are directed at their democrat colleagues, who want very much the same vision for america's future.

i remember in the msnbc debate, obama was confronted with questions about farrakhan's support. he fumbled and stuttered things about how he cannot tell someone to not support him and that he has publicly denounced their behavior. but when tim russert pressed him to ask him if he would reject their support, he says he cannot. it wasn't until hillary related of her experience in the new york senotorial election where she had to stand up and reject the white supremist groups support to show what it means to provide leadership, did obama then back track and corrected to say that he both renounce and reject the support of farrakhan.

his ambiguity on being able to stand up strongly in the face of such obviously clearly acknowledged hate mongering, and in front of national television nonetheless, should be a point of grave concern.

these are not positive leadership quality that you look for in your president at all. i want a president who will make it clear that hate mongering is not tolerated in any form, no matter how benign the current situations might seem. hate is like cancer. he needs to provide leadership now so that his supporters, especially those young and easily influenced, will not fall under false guidance.

i sincerely hope obama is better than what he appears to be now.

i will end with a somewhat positive note. The following is from a comment i pulled out of www.hillaryclintonforum.com under the thread : "Obama thugs issue DEATH THREATS to woman who exposed Barry Obama's San Francisco comments"

You know what really pisses me off? That these African American politicians put their reputations, their careers, and their own safety at risk to stand up for what they believe in-- to stand up for their belief in Hillary Clinton---but there are spineless superdelegates out there who will not. That makes me so angry I can hardly see straight. These cowards who would prefer to have Clinton but will not risk stepping out to be counted before
they are absolutely forced to are a disgrace to America and their positions in it. How brave it is for Stephanie Tubbs Jones, Brenda Lee Jackson, the gentlemen from Ohio and those mentioned above to go everyday and do their work in our name and be subject to this kind of hate-filled crap from lousy people. To stand and get boo-ed by your own constituents, to get death threats, and to still do what you feel is right. To contrast that with someone like Sherrod Brown-- sitting on the fence, happy, safe and warm, or my own superdelegates Baucus, Tester and Schweitzer taking no stand, saying nothing. Political cowards all in my book. You want to go beyond race? You want to go beyond politics as usual? You want to find real heroes in all this muck? Look no further than the African American superdelegates who stand up for what they believe in- in spite of this disgusting war that is being waged against them.

judging Obama with double standards

the most recent claim by Obama supporters are that Clinton's are using GOP tactics to bring down Obama.

Wow, they are alive and paying attention to the primary afterall. Oh wait, they are only angry when their candidate gets exposed for making a mistake. And rather than holding Obama accountable for the gaffe, they claim that Clintons are playing by GOP rule book.

The reality is, the Obama campaign has been recycling stuff out of the GOP playbook since the beginning of the primaries. And if the Obama supporters haven't noticed, they obviously are out of touch with what is going on. The double standard is absolutely appaling.

One comment on Huffington Post from an Obama supporter got me so angry that I had to copy it down. He/she said

First thing that I have to point out by this supporter is that he has no idea what's going on. CNN and MSNBC have been providing biased coverage of the primary that are so skewed to Obama it makes me puke. They are never on Clinton's side, and for them to report it means there is a good reason for it.

And, No it is not about being called bitter, it is about being mocked for lifestyle and values, and ignoring the fact that their economic concerns are legitamate! Also, small town voters & Hillary supporters have been very angry for being called a racist too. It is just not picked up by the Obama supporters because it helps their candidate to win. It is not news because the Obama campaign played the race card to alienate the Clinton supporters. What they don't know is that by ignoring Hillary supporters, they have served to alienate them further and are now tired of being called racists. The reason why Hillary support has remained strong is because the Obama campaign has been completely ignorant and disrepectful to their own party members who don't support their candidate. Hillary isn't doing this to throw the DNC under the bus. She is trying to save our chances by showing that we are going to lose if we make the same mistake again.

Like Lou Dobbs say, "elitism is a frame of mind".

I detest elitism, it is the worst quality in a person. And just because someone is rich doesn't mean they are elite. Warren Buffett is not an elitist. An elitist is someone who presumes to know better than others. An elitist tries to impose their superior judgement onto others without considering what the others are saying to them.

In this case, the DNC and Obama are the liberal elitists who are trying to force the Obama candidate on to the Hillary supporters who support Hillary based on her track records, merit, and contribution to the Democrat party and American people. They are out of touch with the voters in the party and don't even hear them. The Hillary supporters are invisible to them. They are treating them with some paternalistic elitism that is insulting and demeaning. Obama deserves to be exposed for this gaffe. If the democrats are not made aware of this now, they will sure regret it come the general election. The DNC better wake up soon and pay attention because more and more hillary supporters are disenchanted with the DNC's inability to hear them and will leave the party... Listen!

(p.s. Huffington Post continues to amaze me with their putrid & distasteful glorification of Obama. Ariana, you are exactly what Tracey Ulman protray you as, an elitist narcisist.)

lemmings who repeat ...

...hillary is a liar, a thief, a cheater and a bitch,

...hillary will say and do anything to get elected,

...hillary is hiding something and can't be trusted,

...who knows what the witch is up to,

...obama is a wonderful & charming speaker,

...michelle is funny and witty and like hillary but with personality,

...obama is inspiring hope,

...obama will heal the world,

...obama is change we can believe in, the one,

...if you support hillary you are a racist and an idiot.

repeat above until hillary supporters are shamed to submission and hillary drops out.

repeat above until the lemmings drop off the cliff and when all the dirt on obama comes gushing out in the general election.

disappointed ...

... by their candidate's recent performance.

on the issue of iraq: obama has now backtracked from a previous strong rhetorical stance against continued presence. his recent performance at the committee hearings against patraeus pale in comparison to hillary's strong stance. his advisors talk of keeping 60-80k troops there, a 50% reduction, rather than a full withdrawl like clinton proposes.

on the issue of tibet and china: obama spoke against boycotting the olympics, taking a wait and see attitude and said "how do you force your banker to do something?" all this while his strong supporters in san francisco take it to the streets demanding boycott. clinton is at the forefront providing leadership for his supporters.

on his qualifications in foreign policy: he mentioned that because he's been on a college trip in pakistan in the 80s and met with people that makes him more qualified than the other candidates. his naivity to presume that nothing has changed since the 80s, to claiming that those young end of college trips are good credentials is pompous exaggeration. i have done a fair bit of travelling myself, and met many people who spend months and years travelling to middle east, all over the world, but none of them would say that their experience makes them qualified to be a leader in foreign policy.

i still don't get why obama supporters insist on clinging on to an idol that is of no substance and unable to stand up strongly for any principle when pressured.

deep down, i know obama supporters are aligned with the clinton's platform on the issues. they just need to take off the love goggles and see their candidate for what he truely is - inexperienced and outrageous. obama supporters, please ask why you hate so much. what did the clintons do except what has been falsely claimed against them? don't fall in the trap of seeing the world as black and white, the world is a ever-changing continuum where everyone even with the best intentions, make mistakes. judge a politician by track records and results, and never by what they say.

trolls...

...sneaking around in pro-hillary sites spewing hate.

they are afraid of a hillary win so they go around telling people how inevitable the obama nomination is and hence any success that hillary will have going forward is illigitmate and must have been underhanded.

last night, a friend of mine asked me:

him: "do you think hillary should quit because she's so far behind?"

me: "how far behind do you think she is? she's really not that far behind. she literally has 50% of the democrat party's support. is that being far behind?"

him: "don't you think she should quit now or else it will hurt the party?"

me: "well, do you think not letting people vote in a close race and disenfranchising
them won't hurt the party ?"

him: "do you want the election to be decided by backroom deals?"

me: "are you implying that only hillary will make backroom deals if the primary is taken all the way to the convention? by the way that it looks now, both of them will be making deals with superdelegates. obama is just the same."

him: "if hillary wins because the superdelegates votes, people will get angry and something bad will happen."

me: "why will something bad happen if she wins, are you threatening hillary supporters with violent riots?"

him: "... no, i'm not"

me: "look the rules are the rules. hillary made a strategic mistake by ignoring caucus states and the porportional allocation has hurt her even though she would have carried the nomination under a winner take all electoral process. superdelegates are also part of the rules and we all accept the outcomes as the rules are written. we complain about caucuses, the FL and MI votes and you complain about superdelegates. ultimately we should accept it because that is the outcome. i think it is just as equally likely that the superdelegates will end up being a negative for hillary, but you won't hear us threatening violence and chaos."

btw, i remembered an obama lie from a long time ago. during a debate with cnn(or msnbc) he was asked about NAFTA. he said that as a community organizer he had seen the negative effects of NAFTA in south chicago and yada yada... the lie was, when he was the community organizer, NAFTA hadn't been passed yet. he likes to play gotcha with the american people. his unspoken challenge: "because i'm so perfect and you are so smitten, see if you can catch me when i'm lying."

seeing the lies?

i found in the comment sections again some compilation by someone who labels him/herself as "another former obama supporter" . are these all true? i don't know, i'm not an obama supporter, the onus is not on me to disprove.

here is what was written in the comment sections:

And YET HERE ARE LIES THEY WILL NOT EXPOSE BY OBAMA....::
Obama Lies - Quick Glance

OBAMA LAUNDRY LIST OF LIES as of April 03, 2008
(68 lies and counting)

1.) Selma Got Me Born - LIAR, your parents felt safe enough to have you in 1961 - Selma had no effect on your birth, as Selma was in 1965.

45.) I Have Always Been Against Iraq - LIAR, you weren't in office to vote against it AND you have voted to fund it every single time, unlike Kucinich, who seems to be out gutting you Obama. You also seem to be stepping back from your departure date - AGAIN.

46.) I Have Always Supported Universal Health Care - LIAR, your plan leaves us all to pay the 15,000,000 who don't have to buy it.

47.) I Only Found Out About My Investment Conflicts Via Mail - LIAR, both companies you site as having sent you letters about this conflict have no record of any such letter ever being created or sent.

55.) My Church Is Like Any Other Christian Church - LIAR, your church is so extreme, the pastor who married you, Rev. Wright, just got done blaming the US for 9/11 and named Louis Farrahkan their person of the year.

56.) I Disagree With My Church All The Time - LIAR, you still have yet to repudiate Wright, who married you and your wife, and you still donate large sums of money to assist the church in furthering its message - hatred and revenge. You donated in 2006 alone, $22,500 to the church that you so terribly disagree with. That is nearly $500 PER WEEK - that sure is disagreement, Senator Obama.

57.) I Have Clean Connections Despite Rezko - LIAR, you are not only connected to Exelon and Rezko, you are also connected to Hillary PAC supporter Mr. Hsu, AND an Iraqi Billionaire of ill repute, Nadhmi Auchi, who ripped off people in the Food For Oil, Iraqi deal. Seems Mr. Auchi may have helped Obama buy his million dollar property long before Obama had millions of dollars. Wonder what favors Mr. Auchi expects, when Obama leaves Iraq free to be taken over by special interests such as him.

58.) I never heard sermons like Rev. Wright's, that have been in videos all day, You Tube - LIAR! 3 days later during your Mea Culpa BS speech you said "Did I hear controversial statements while I sat in that church? Yes I did."

59.) The Passport Invasion is a conspiracy to find dirt on me! - LIAR. Your own Campaign Foreign Policy Advisor is the CEO of the company that looked into your records. PS - You had them look into yours to hide the fact you looked into Clinton's and McCain's more than a year before!

60.) Rev. Meeks has nothing to do with my campaigning - LIAR. Rev. Meeks appeared in ads for your Senate Campaign, donated to you, and helped raise money, then AND NOW. PS - He also seems to despise America.

61.) My wife didn't mean America is ignorant, she was just using a phrase - LIAR. Again, MicHELLe's comments perfectly sync with Wright's, Meeks', and Farrakhans, both in language, anger, and direction.

62.) I am very Anti-Terror - LIAR. [03/30/2008] One of your good pals is long time radical and terrorist William Ayers, with whom you have been seen in the last 12 months and who has helped the now jailed khalidi, Professor at Columbia who invited Ahmadinejad to the University, to raise money for Palestinian terrorism attacks against Israel. PS - Your church published a pro Hamas Manifesto - guess you weren't there on THAT Sunday either? How lucky for you.

63.) I have the best plan to cure the Mortgage Crisis - LIAR. [03/30/2008] You and your campaign buddy Penny SubPrime Bank Collapse Prizker have had your little fingers full of subprime cash - Obama has taken $1,180,103 from the top issuers of subprime loans: Obama received $266,907 from Lehman, $5395 from GMAC, $150,850 from Credit Suisse First Boston, $11,250 from Countrywide, $9052 from Washington Mutual, $161,850 from Citigroup, $4600 from CBASS, $170,050 from Morgan Stanley, $1150 from Centex, and last but certainly NOT LEAST - Obama received $351,900 from Goldman Sachs. I am sure that cash all came from folks who knew the subprime loan they had was a dream, eh?

64) I played greater role in crafting liberal stands on gun control, the death penalty and abortion - LIAR - [03/31/2008] It was found that Obama -- the day after sitting for the interview -- filed an amended version of the questionnaire, which appears to contain Obama's own handwritten notes added to one answer. Read Obama had greater role on liberal survey

65) I did NOT play the race card: - LIAR - [03/31/2008] Obama was the first to play the race card. According to Phialdelphia Inquirer, Quietly, the storm over the hateful views expressed by Sen. Barack Obama's pastor, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, has blown away the most insidious myth of the Democratic primary campaign. Obama and his surrogates have charged that Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton has deliberately and cleverly played the race card in order to label Obama the "black" candidate. Read more here

66) I did not take money from oil companies: - LIAR - [03/31/2008]

THE FACTS: True enough, Obama does not take money from oil companies. No candidate does. It is illegal for corporations to give money to politicians. Corporations, however, do have political action committees that collect voluntary donations from employees and then donate them to candidates. Obama doesn't take money from PACs. He also doesn't take money from lobbyists.

But he does accept money from executives and other employees of oil companies and two of his fundraisers are oil company executives. As of Feb. 29, Obama's presidential campaign had received nearly $214,000 from oil and gas industry employees and their families, according to an analysis by the nonpartisan Center for Responsive Politics. Clinton had received nearly $307,000 from industry workers and their families and Republican Sen. John McCain, the likely GOP presidential nominee, received nearly $394,000, according to the center's totals.

Two of Obama's fundraisers are Robert Cavnar, the chairman and chief executive of Houston-based Mission Resources Corp., and George Kaiser, the president and CEO of Tulsa-based Kaiser-Francis Oil Co. Source: Associated press via Yahoo News

67) "I don't think my church is actually particularly controversial," Obama said at a community meeting in Nelsonville, Ohio, earlier this month. - LIAR - But yesterday, he told a different story. "Did I ever hear him make remarks that could be considered controversial while I sat in church? Yes," he said in his speech yesterday in Philadelphia.

68) Look at my education record in Illinois - LIAR - In reality, Obama never really championed the local councils. He supported them behind the scenes and only eventually came out publicly on their behalf. When he did weigh in, he came down on the wrong side of the debate--against protecting principals from unwarranted dismissals and in favor of keeping councils independent, no matter what. In the end, the resolution of the conflict between the two sides didn't alleviate anyone's concerns. Instead, it prolonged a turf battle that seems to have dragged down academic progress in the years since. Read more here. Source: slate.com

irrational sensationalists...

who are ready to pounce on trivial blunders and blow them out of proportion...

as an example... take the latest hospital story...

here's the real scoop:
http://noquarterusa.net/blog/2008/04/07/the-real-trina-bachtel-story/

i don't mind this as long as they hold obama to the same scrutiny. obama has lied plenty of times...

consistency my friends, consistency in standards is very important.

or else, after you get obama as democrat nominee, obama will be destroyed by the republicans. the MSM saving all the obama dirt of the general election doesn't do the democrats any good.

the funny thing is, i think the media has run out of things to dig up on the clintons because they are relying on 'catching' her 'blunders' on the primary trail to fabricate news for use in character assasination.

of one track mind...

... as they keep calling clinton a liar.

they keep recycling stuff that the repubs fabricated & nit-picking on her bosnia misspeak as if it was the biggest lie they have ever encountered. about how she lied about her hospital story as a way to get sympathy. then they tried to pick apart the clinton's tax return looking for skeletons of some sort. all the while forgetting that the nation spent millions of dollars trying to dig up dirt on them and failed. they desparately look for things to blow out of proportion while ignoring that their own candidate lied about things that are possibly considerably worse...

1) how much money he took from his rezko pal - started with 80k, then 120k, then 250k
2) how he didn't know of his pastor's inflammatory rhetoric for 20years
3) lack of disclosure about his own tax records for more than just 1 year
4) how he claimed credit for pushing through legislation in the illinois legislature when it was someone else who fed him those legislations
5) how he is above negative campainging when his campaign is doing it indirectly
6) back tracking on his stance on getting troops out and his advisors contradicting them on national media
7) how he doesn't take money from lobbyists and pac's while employing former lobbyists and takes money from bundlers.
8) how he claims to be politics as usual but is all politics as usual?

there is one thing that is different about a clinton supporter versus an obama supporter. a clinton supporter does not put his/her candidate on a pedastal of perfection. we accept her for all her flaws and evaluate her for her accomplishments despite having do deal with the nasty politics in reality. there are no love goggles here, but only deeply rooted support for a candidate who have endured character assasination because she chose to stand up for the interests of those that need a champion.

politicians lie to get things done, so get over it. therefore the only fair way to evaluate one, is to look at their accomplishments and their track record.

obama isn't going to bring about new politics without lying, because it is not up to him to dictate. in fact, his track record shows that he's a plenty good liar too.

politics is what happens when individuals and groups look out for their self-interest. i hold no unrealistic expectations that bad people in the world will come to their senses and join hands with obama in the interest of being fairminded and moral. the fact that obama is selling you this koolaid, makes him one of the biggest liar out there. i am fine with his lying to get things done as a politician for the betterment of his constituency. it is his claiming to be a new brand of politics that irks me.

not positively inspired.

they care about who is running a positive or negative campaingn. who has charisma... etc.

one barack supporter said :

"I don't expect Obama to run an anti-McCain TV ad campaign any more explicitly than he's run an anti-Clinton TV ad campaign. Unless he falls into a desperate situation running against McCain, I think he'll stick with the positive, inspiring thing, maybe run some anti-McCain stuff on the radio and let outside groups like MoveOn do the bulk of the attack ads. That's fine with me."

right... and therefore obama is not negative because he has his surrogates and the media do it for him? and some how being anti-clinton is consistant with being positive and inspiring. what the f*ck. they are full of boloney.

why can't they focus on the issues? oh right, because their candidate is just a novice and has to take advice from everyone. he is just a good marketing tool for the group of unattractive advisers he has behind him.

hmm. who does that sound like... george w. bush! and let's remember what happened over the last 7yrs. his group of advisers went on delivering some hidden agenda far removed from what was promised during his campaign. remember "compassionate conservatism" and "bipartisanship"? not so different than "hope" and "change" no?

is obama positive and inspiring if he does not inspire positive campaigning?

cowards if they go after chelsea

with questions about whether the Monica Lewinsky scandal hurts her mother's campaign.

The issue happened almost 10yrs ago. Hillary has accepted Bill for his errors and forgave him. If the Obama supporters can't move on by now, they are worse than Hillary and don't know how to forgive.

They often say that there is no hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.
Perhaps they should say there is no hell hath no fury like an Obama supporter scorned.

Grow up and move on! Get your nose out of other people's personal business.

Stop recycling republican tactics of personal destruction and talk about something positive for a change. Let's hear about how good Obama is and how he inspires you to do something other than profilgating hate and nastiness.

Some Obama supporters can be so naive and immature!

too proud to admit they were fooled...

& bamboozled by a politician who played the same old tricks about hope and change...

they are too proud to admit that they drank the kool-aid and were duped by his charisma.

it is time to let go of pride, and take a step back and reevaluate the facts and the track records that exist out there. don't let hate-mongering take away from reason... please let cooler heads prevail and humility win over hubris. be a little cynical and ask questions, see both sides of the argument before jumping to conclusions. no one's perfect out there, and there is so much misinformation in politics that what you hear is often not real. better to examine records and evaluate actions. that is what a politician is ultimately accountable to, and should be judged by. actions speak louder than words, and deeds stronger than promises.

recycled republican hate mongers

it is amazing to see obama supporters so eager to suck up all the old republican tatics and attacks on the clinton in order to support their own candidate.

it is hypocricy for these supporters for doing so because i often hear their main reason they support their candidate is that obama brings a new kind of politics that is not about personal destruction. well, what does it mean when his supporters are inspired to use old dirty tactics? weren't they angry when the republicans used them against democrats? if so, why are they doing the same to their own party members?

as a comment junkie, i have been reading comments after articles and op-eds to see what bloggers write out there. i have always been absolutely disgusted by what i see coming out of obama supporter's comments... the disrespectful personal attacks, derogatory remarks, and down right hate mongering is unbelievable.

take huffington post for example, a progressive blog site that is pro-obama. arianna's posts are incredibly disrespectful and ugly. reading it only makes me wonder what goes on inside that woman's mind... what happened to her heart? did some one mistreat her when she was a child? the site has degraded to nothing but a place for a bunch of bully narcissists who think so highly of themselves and perform the cowardly acts of belittling and complaining.

and look at the way the media commentators on CNN and MSNBC disrespect clinton while unabashedly display their affection for obama. the way that these people conduct themselves have destroyed journalistic integrity in my mind. they have all become shamelessly delusional.

if all that obama has inspired, is fueled by hate that has been created by falsified attacks of the past..., it just means that obama is a divisive force for the democratic party.

in the past, the republicans used those attacks to divide the country. now the obama supporters recycle the same attacks to divide the democratic party. i'm worried...

if obama really were a transcendant politician, he should opening tell his supporters to stop being negative and be more respectful. his supporters should bide by what he preaches. obama should lead by example, just like he should reject the support of anti-semitic hate mongers, he should also reject those of recycled republican hate mongers.

not asking the right questions

Much of Obama's support is derived from claims that his record as a STATE legistlator. Many of his supporters take his claim at face value that he can work in NATIONAL political arena even though he barely served for 1 year before deciding to run for president. First of all, do we really believe that he truely understand the deep interests at work on the national level such that he can work to bridge that deep divide created by the Bush's bully pulpit administration? We can only look at his prior experiences in the state level to see what actually happened on contentious issues. Obama boasts of his bipartisan work on two issues - and the NYT written articles about what actually happened.

http://krugman.blogs.nytimes.com/2007/12/19/interesting-obama-history/?s...

http://www.nytimes.com/2008/02/03/us/politics/03exelon.html?_r=2&hp=&ore...

We see that his bipartisanship leadership is just very poor comprosmise to the special interest. How is that better? People who think that he can make politics work differently don't understand how negotiations actually work in politics. Perhaps he doesn't even know how it works in National politics because he hadn't the experiences yet. So why is it that we just accept his claims without scrutiny? I agree that when a candidate has never been tested, he can speak to his ideals much more truthefully. If I were a politician, I can speak to my hopes and ideals with a lot of passion too, but I know that once I am placed in the reality of world, these special interest will require skills that deal with politics as usual.

Obama has a better record about not saying things directly that could damage himself. He is not willing to stand up for any issue strongly and take heat for them. On contentious issues, he votes present. He doesn't have a record on abortion because he voted Present on every abortion legislation in the Illinois legislature. He voted present on the Kyle Liberman admendment but then come back and say he *would have* voted against it. That is NOT what we want from our leaders. We need leaders that can demostrate strong convictions and be able to stand up for people that need strong advocates and make americans make difficult decisions about reality without engaging them in false hope based on rhetoric and no track record.

On the national town hall Hillary hosted on Feb 5, she talked about LGBT issues. That is a lot of visibility for an issue that does not need to be for many people. This is why I support Hillary. Watch it here:

http://townhall.hillaryclinton.com/

Obama is just another politician like everyone else, he is flawed like everyone else.
http://www.hillaryis44.org/?p=438
http://www.hillaryis44.org/?p=436
http://www.hillaryis44.org/?p=449

Obama is more of the same - not different. He is trying to get elected by talking up his personality and avoid the issues. That's the way Bush got elected. Change is when the American voters looking deeper into a candidate and make decisions about the issues. Only you can change politics by focusing on the issues.

...closet racists

i am SO annoyed by recent discussions of why less educated, latino, asian people don't vote for obama. they essentially narrow it down to these people being racists. Obama supporters think that since their candidate is the best candidate at addressing those issues and their candidate is near perfection, any reason to not vote for him is due to the voter's flaws, i.e. racism; or if they are a women, it is because they are sexist.

COME ON! people are just trying to vote the issues and being as race blind and gender blind while doing so. what you project and accuse people of have more to say about youself than others.

DELUSIONAL...

... because they have been swept by his beautiful words and are now heading into a state of hysteria.

They are like mindless massess before a cult leader, whose words take them to a state of nirvana based on irrational bliss. They have become like fans before a rock star, or devout believers before their messiah.

The reality is that politics are a reflection of human nature. Obama, despite all his talents cannot change human nature -- especially of those who are immune to his preaching. If his message is so great, why are his supporters filled with such hate for Clintons? If his message is to unite, why have we become more divided as his candidacy gains momentum? Is he more the same or just delivering more self-serving promises of a change in the way politics is done?

Please call me cynical, I'd so much rather be that than delusional.

The only way to bring about bipartisanship is to focus on the issues. The change we need in our campaigns is for the voting public to vote on the issues, not on political theory of bipartisanship or their popularity. How do we hold someone accountable for fullfilling his campaign promise of bipartisanship? And say if he did, how do we hold him accountable to the desired results to the issues we face? Why should we confine our leaders in their way of delivering those results by making bipartisanship a bigger priority than the issues?

It is also rediculous that we have a movement for 'bipartisanship'. The fact that it is even being compared with other historical movements like the civil rights movement is downright insulting to our intelligence as a nation.

Ask yourselves: Hope for what? Change for what? 'Yes we can' what? Creating a movement on these fanciful words will at somepoint hit the wall of reality.
